I recently gave HRT OA for C++ Software Engg. role.
It consisted of 4 easy CP questions.
Topics: 1) String manipulation
2) Implementation based ques, as in just do whatever is asked in ques step by step
3) Some logical questions like CF Div-2 C, not using advanced DS.
Btw no tree, graph based problems were asked.

Moreover, if you could share a few pointers to college undergrads who are aiming to get into this field it’d be really helpful!

I don’t remember the exact problem statements.
To prepare, I would suggest do CodeForces for problem solving and follow the Quant Developer Roadmap on this website + cover OS, Networks, Architecture, Compilers from college courses and learn C++
