Congratulations on being selected for the Quant Research Focus Room!
This will be an intensive, hands-on community focused on preparing for Quant Research summer internships in 2027 (for which interviews are conducted in 2026). Over the next few months, @huzefachasmai and I will be mentoring you through:
- Building strong fundamentals in statistics, probability, and puzzles
- Exploring quant research-style projects
This is a selective group - we received many applications, and only a few were chosen. Please stay active and participate regularly in discussions and tasks. If you’re unable to continue or contribute for a period, let us know so that a waitlisted participant can take your place. Participants inactive for more than 1 week would be removed automatically. We recommend that you click the bell icon on the main room page to turn on notifications for all new threads and comments in this room.
Feel free to ask questions, discuss approaches, and share how you’re tackling problems or new ideas. Your insights could help others, and that’s exactly the kind of collaborative energy we want here.
Let’s get started - it’s going to be a fun and challenging ride ahead! I’ll be using the space below to add topics in chronological order as more students join in.
